Linux proton problems and how to fix it in my debian with wine staging installed
I finally got some time to check out why my Debian Linux is not starting Rocket League with Proton (steam client is logging that my hw doesn't support dx11).

I have latest wine staging installed (from: https://www.winehq.org/ (that's the same place where Proton is originally from ;)))

....so I just added to the games start parameters following line

"PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%"
note:You must have wine installed in your machine to use wined3d

IT works again ...hip hip hurray!

Nice, I know Rocket league stopped linux support. But those who actually want to enjoy the game, nothing can stop them.

So you use the OpenGL based DX Layer. It's a wonder it works at all. This is a "slowlution", because Rocket League runs perfectly with DXVK. Better find out why DXVK does not work for you. How old is your graphics card? Model?

Only 1 year older than the game is xD

NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti supports DirectX 11.2 but only feature level 11_0.

OpenGL is fine and the game lags anywayz when everyone is pushing the buttons at the same time ;)

Epic MSshit. I'm a customer but who cares?
