And do you see some messages like Packet loss or something similiar?
Isn't that rather your FPS drops?
Don't want to sound like boomer but it could be overloaded connection due to Pandemia too.
have no packet loss, my fps are always near 50 and 100+.
I play only on EU servers, the first seconds of the game, everything looks fine, then after few seconds, lag starts, boost picking is done 1 second after i reach the boost pad, ball teleport and change speed, etc...
If the network is overloaded, shouldn't I experience also a high ping on the leaderboard or with other softwares ?
btw my ping is a bit higher, from 30 to 50 roughly.
ping my box : same, 1ms.
memory windows 10 test : no problem
check my box graphics : everything fine, constant connexion
windows 10 up to date
Try to launch game in Directx 9. Set Steam lauch options:
-dx9

Maybe it would be better if you upload video recording.
thx for your answers.
i tried dx9, nothing changed.
Ill try to find a way to record.
I wanted to say that it's extremely regular, every game, it's good at the beginning, thenafter like 20-30s it starts.
But i think my provider or my box can be the issue even if the xdsl graphics are fine. maybe a protocol blocking some requests.
btw everything else runs fine. on discord, my voice in clean, youtube same, etc...
Maybe windows interference or an external software. I'm lost.
i5 2500k
8go ddr3
1030 (not crazy, dead old gc, but still enough to have more than 50 fps constantly)
I managed to take a screenshot of one of the numerous lag spikes in a game.

And even without graphs going crazy, it's not that smooth, i experience rough minilags all the time.
When this happens near the goal, you are dead and your mates are angry xD
I will wait, open tickets, and change my isp, i am done with them...
thanks for your answers.
Btw i played 1game like 1 hour ago and it was fine except few lags from bottleneck effect because of corrona i think.
So i suppose its definetly an ISP issue.
But it can be a good start to check connectivity for other ppl having this issue, i met a lot of threads where players resolved it by changing cable or checking near the box/plugs.
I had apsolutely the same issue as you previously described. I think I found the main cause behind this kind of behaviour of game.
All you need to do is TURN OFF FIREWALL ON ROUTER!
As you let RL through windows firewall, (probbabbly forwarded ports on router as well) this router's firewall is checking trafic from RL. You can't add exceptions to this FW but can only turn it off completely.
Additionaly, I also set my TCP/IP for google DNS in windows, and later I added it to router too.
