he ever tried to get into controller but he can't, he keep playing with KBM now and keep scoring trophies
So, it back to the person, if you feel joystick giving you more edge, go for it, if u like mouse more, go for it

Also with controller you can control your speed by pressing the R2 button as far as you want.
However, with controller you can easily flip in a direction you didn't intend to go to, because you didnt aim the joystick well.
And with controller it is much harder to arrange all the key bindings.
I've mostly played the game with controller, and it feels like I'm limiting myself.
if you're equally good with both I think your points are good. Dribbling, aerials and close precision easier with a controller, changing direction, slides and speed of reaction a little better with a keyboard/mouse. But not by much. Just pick one and stick to it.
