The trading community is very much alive, but most item values have decreased since the release of Rocket Pass. I find this refreshing, as new players can usually build a pretty nice car for only a few keys.
Maybe you should elaborate HOW you're trying to trade so that we can help you.
Anyways, just be patient. Sometimes it takes a few days for someone to respond. I also recommend using PCCs or NCVR as currency, since MOST buyers don't want to use keys unless they are buying expensive items. Also, try trading item-for-item. I get more responses this way and you'll get more value out of your items.
Let's look at your post:
-TW Inverted: Your value is too high. There are over 10 people asking for LESS than 7k
-Crimson Inverted: 5 others selling for 3k
-Sky Inverted: 4 others selling for 2k
-Grey Octane: Too many to count selling this at 5k
-Crimson Octane: I see 2 people selling at 12k and a few at 13k
You're simply asking for too much. Lower your prices.
Agreed, mostly. I feel that the 10k spent on RocketPass is a good deal and it gives us something to work towards, so I think RP price is fair. I don't know for sure, but I feel like many players purchased RP that would not have otherwise spent money on keys, so perhaps it was a smart move for Psyonix.
RP did kill item market values though...
