It's DAILY WIN bonus, with all Rocket Pass bonuses ( premium bonus and party bonus ) and during Double XP weekend winning match WITH daily win bonus gives you around 12k if I remember correctly.
You can stack up to 21 daily wins if you didn't play for 7 days straight. ( 3 per day )
Every Daily Win gives you extra 2500 XP, so it's noticable amount.
Also - If you got Rocket Pass but don't have Daily Wins left, you will get less XP per win than someone who doesn't have Rocket Pass but still have Daily Wins bonus.
Without Win Daily Bonus it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the XP is very similar because Win bonus is only 100xp.
5k for losing match? Ez explanation - overtime, Normal match lasts 5 min and you receive 1350 XP from match completition for that time. You can divide 1350 per 5 and you'll have how much XP you get for 1 min of gameplay, if my math is correct it's 270. So if you received around 1k more XP than normal, I bet you had around 3min overtime after standard match time. Opposite team shot a goal, you lost, yet you still got more XP from match time because that match was longer than a standard 5 min one.
Again, it's not a bug, it's game mechanics.
Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it's broken
Good to know that the xp is similar if you win or lose. The daily reward i know, yesterday i had 10k xp, it clearly says daily win bonus. Thanks for the explanation.
u get 4000-8000 in a game, where the 200 are multiplied, so about 600. so its relevant. this bonus makes no sense.
( imho unnecessary push because I personally doesn't like being forced to playing the game more often than I normally do because of some mumbo-jumbo grindy passes )
... so they doesn't play at 100% but they just play more casual. So they're going casual mode and gather a tiny bit better XP from there than competitive.
Now imagine competitive gives more XP than casual - everyone, no matter if he wants just grind XP or gain rank in competitive sticks to competitive because of better XP. You would have often being put into a team with people who doesn't even interested in gaining rank - they don't care because they're mostly here because of XP they grind.
It would be so annoying for people who actually play competitive for competition and trying increase own rank.
So yea, you can say a tiny bonus for casual mode is bad or unfair, but imho it's smart way to attract grinders into casual mode and keep competitive mode a bit cleaner.
That's atleast how I look at it and I'm fine with how it works.
