what very rares do u need for the tradeup to get white octane (or the chance to)?

When you trade your very rare items, you get a painted car body or painted rocket boost, color of which is entirely random.

Yep. The game doesn't care about which individual items you trade up. Just to clarify though, they have to be non-crate items, otherwise you're trading up to another crate item.

All very rare from free drop, not the ones from crates. But chances are extremely low for White Octane.
