This is exactly the point I wanted to make. I can't imagine to pay over 20 euros for a set of wheels. Why do they cost 10x more than the Jurassic Park DLC before it was REMOVED from the Steam Store as we speak? It's just one accesory. ONE! Can somebody please make a ''This is brilliant, but I prefer this'' meme with the base game on the right and a set of bling bling wheels on the left? This is just meme material at this point.
They just chose terrible prices for items.
damn thats insane. weren't the original crates rigged tho? read some things about people getting black market items around the 50th crate and that also seemed to be the case for me.
Blueprints are exactly like crates for the random items you get except you don't have to pay a single dime unless you want the blueprint crafted into the item. Unlike crates however, these items are far more expensive and much worse. They may not be considered gambling, but this is basically what gambling does, cheats you out of your money. Just one rare decal that I have as a blueprint costs twice as much as it would have been to open one singular crate.
This update is a complete cash scam and an ABSOLUTE FAILURE.
It's not being received well and I've seen Reddit posts, Tweets, and other stuff on social media that points toward them opposing Psyonix for this and the number of them is high. Since there's so many subreddit posts about the outrageous prices, Psyonix moved to censor or remove the posts so it wouldn't completely fill up their front page. I don't see this dying down anytime soon and I can see the company losing a lot more money than they invested into this update.
For some of you, it's not a matter of "if" they start to lose money, it's a matter of "when" from here on out.
Yes we in the EU are sorry for looking to ban loot boxes, the same loot boxes that in many cases were directly aimed at kids and are a form of gambling.
You in the US have terrible consumer laws, do you like GDRP and that you get a choice on how your data is used? Well that was an EU law brought in.
actually sounds about right for me too, just no more bm blueprints after that! and guess what since then, i've had 4 black market blueprint drops and under 10 non-bm drops. hilarious!
