elite controller paddles not recognized
does anyone know how to setup the paddles in steam? My elite 2 works and is recognized by steam and rocket league, however I can not bind the paddles.

1. In game when I attempt to bind powerslide to one of the paddles nothing happens.
2. When I go into steam settings (big picture mode) then click on Manage game>Controller Configuration the paddles do not show up.

So I have 2 questions:
1. does steam/rocket league even recognize the paddles?
2. if it does, how do I map the paddles?

Were you able to get the paddles working?

Turn on the enhanced xbox driver in the controller settings (settings > controller > general controller settings), reboot, make sure your controller is in no profile (no profile lights on) and it should work.

The paddles aren't a separate button. You need to set the paddles as an existing button using the app for the controller.

Yes they are.

You can only map them as an existing button yeh? They are not a button of their own AFAIK. Or maybe I need to update my software.

No, they are actual buttons, individually addressable by steam input when using the steam extended driver.

This setting HAS to be on, you HAVE to reboot after turning it on and the controller MUST be in "no profile" mode (so no profile lights are on, hold the profile button to go straight to it) for it to work.
