Lag While Streaming
Whenever I try to stream rocket league it lags alot. Even though My pc is says I am getting 200+ frames it feels really choppy even in training. This only happens in rocket legaue for some reason, rust and csgo stream just fine. Any fix?

why do people confuse lag with stuttering/lowfps all the time?

im confused whether you have stuttering or lagging/high ping in game.

Obviously stuttering, because he wouldn't have the problems with "lags" while being in training.....

my guess is that your cpu is at a 100% usage, since streaming normally is pretty cpu heavy, check your task manager if you have dual monitors while you try it and check your usages. did you try changing to borderless window mode or full screen mode on rocket league already? some games dont like beeing streamed in either full screen or windowed borderless

I'll try it out thank you

well i could offer him all the solutions regarding lags, some people are not that aware and will mistake his post for asking for lagging solutions. im just helping him to get it right.

you have no problem streaming it in full screen? so ? your comment was way more helpfull than mine was ! he has different hardware than you most likely, so what others can or cant do wont help his case most likely will it ?

What GPU?:

IF Nvidia - go to nvidia control panel - and set pre-rendered frames to 4- if you're really getting 200+ Frames per second. EZ no stuttering

You are aware you do not need a monster at all to stream a game like Rocket League?.

There's people streaming Rocket League on a Phenom x4. I think you're very much confusing with Recording. Streaming at most takes away 10 FPS.

A person who doesnt stream is trying to say how streaming works? XD

I have the same with RL. But its no RL issue. Just lower your settings or stream quality.

he should probably say how he is streaming. shadow play or obs or something else adn his settings beacuse streaming 1080p with 60fps is taking more than 10 fps :)

It should not. Thats only a bitrate issue.

Streaming at 1080P at 60 does not really make a huge impact in frames... in the stream it self. If it affects your client you should fix your encoder settings.

If its the stream you're either lacking the bandwitch or you put it to high in the bitrate.

I know because you obviously dont know what you are talking about. XD
