Don't know what happened but it crashes every time the game is ready to join.
heres some reference links to follow through, that are relevant
https://imgur.com/VhJoKQ9 check your task manager and ensure you have these items and the same amount of them in your task manager. if not, do the following:
1. C-cleaner
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download download the free version and run the cleaner and registry fixer (then reboot after)
2. Steam FAQ on a number of issues related to loading the software
https://steamcommunity.com/app/252950/discussions/2/350541595119137931/
3. MalewareBytes - Free for windows (locate the one for your OS)
https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Before any installing of above... reboot computer.
1. uninstall the steam/RL/ and any other games you have installed.
2. reboot OS.
3. temporarily turn off windows firewall & defender
4. install C-cleaner and run it and also run the reg cleaner, save the back ups to docs or somewhere.
5. reboot.
6. install malewarebytes and run a full scan. afterwards, then reboot. Once you rebooted, go into the notication area that shows all programs running in back ground, near your computer clock, far right of your monitor screen. and close down maleware bytes and c cleaner once used.
7. temporarily turn off windows firewall and defender to prevent it interrupting the installation of ALL your games and steam.
8. Right click Steam.exe (setup file that you download from their website.... do not use old one you downloaded, re-download from their site. once downloaded, right click and choose run as Administrator.
9 let it install.
10. download and install RL, then try to load.
11. if all workds , right click task manager and close down programs that dont need to be ran in the background, ie, google installer, etc..... adobe, etc....
12. if prob persists, then the only option is to follow the FAQ link above and show them this process tree that we went through to fix the issue, and they should be able to narrow the problem down even more for you.

The game works nicely again, thank you so much!
You need a "PC Wizard" role on the official server tbh
wtf... and of course, penalty for online games and rank
Same issue here. Share with us the solution if you manage to fix it. Thanks.
I was using a program called "Outfox" which caused this. Closed it and it worked again.
Posting details in case it helps
Seems to be a 50/50 chance of it happening when queueing 2s (unranked, or ranked)
Seems to be a 90% chance of happening when queueing for Snow Day.
I only queue on US-West servers.
System specs:
Win 10 x64 (installed on a Samsung EVO 970 m.2) 512GB
Intel i5-8500
32GB mem
.Net runtime 4..6.2
Game installed on a Samsung EVO 860 SATA (1TB)
No mods
Edit: seems to happen much more frequently when partied up. More rare when I play solo
Edit2: I have an AMD video card (5700 XT). I updated drivers and that seems to have resolved the issue.
