Voice chat on Pc
Is it possible to set up the mic with this game when playing with the pc? If so how do I do it?
could the chat also be crossed over to those I play with on the ps4 and xbox?

Voice chat in this game is fundamentally broken.

I've never understood more than one or two words said over the voice chat.

You can use voice chat, but as mentioned above, it doesn't work well. Also, no chat, voice or text, is transmitted cross-platform.

Yeah voice chat on pc is literally broken. Like its so bad and it’s stuck on all chat so unless you like to scream and talk smack then voice chat is useless. Discord, skype, etc is the best option if you are playing with ppl you know or randoms you added on steam.

voip use to actually work but it was pretty crappy but you could understand what people were saying.


now your lucky if u can get half of a word to come through. you can make quack noises tho, some reason that comes through just fine but not words.

So far in space of what 3 days since I bought the game I have come across issues with trying get 2 player split screen and voice chat and there is neglect from the developers. no doubt they will just focus sales on cosmetics and not bother to fix these issues. I wont be spending any more money on a game that is clearly being neglected.

Discord is a voice chatting program that anyone can use, but it’s not going to let you chat with random console users, as you have to invite people into a lobby to chat. There’s no official way to chat cross-platform. This is by design.

Discord is a voice chat program like skype. And no you can’t unless you console friends use their phones but you can’t actually download discord on Xbox or ps4. But on xbox you can use skype to talk to while you are on pc.

Cross-Platform chat isn't hard, but Psyonix doesn't want it. You can't send text either, and that's even easier. It's by design.
