I have seen more people acting like they have skill at diamond rank, lol.

On http://rocketleague.tracker.network a Diamond is shown about 40 percentile.

It's very, very average.

Those who want to 'brag' about their l33t skills need to be realistic here. I am only a diamond 2 and I consider myself, at best, average at this game. In fact the stats are based on people who play regularly so in reality, if you play hours a week, I would say Diamond is perhaps slightly below average.

I agree because I've been ranked Diamond before, myself. But I went without a video card all winter, and despite practicing a pretty good amount lately, I'm only Platinum or Gold. I don't feel like my skill level or knowledge has dropped off that much. But here I am.

All that is to say there isn't much of a difference between Gold and Diamond. But I don't think you're getting to Diamond without having developed the skills to play well with a team. I'm not saying that everyone in diamond plays well with a team, just that they can, which itself takes a lot of practice.

I think people should be proud of their rank if they practiced hard to get there. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't have skills. There are always better people out there, but there are worse, too. It's all relative.

I got to Champ 3 in the end. I quit playing some months ago, probably around Champ 1 now.

I consider champ average rank for someone with 1.5k+ hours.

These are my stats ( from RL tracker site), should i be stuck in plat ? are my numbers good or bad for being high plat , ive hit diamond, but that was before it went F2P. now i have to fight like my life depends on it to get higher rank, due to cheaters and boosters in 1 week alone i went from almost hitting diamond down to gold, its not easy to get higher ranks with so many cheaters and boosters etc. all my stats use to be top 10-15%, but ive slowly got better and more confident in doing some moves, i hesitate less on alot of goal shots, some times i like to just sit back on our side and do nice long arc lob shots, as many people for some reason cant save those ones as much. heck ive even hit shots going at speed from 200-214. im not trying to flex or anything , im actually wondering if im in the proper rank or not.

The graph that you looked at on the rocket league tracker network is misleading. It makes it look like the average player is platinum when you see that the distribution looks fattest at that point, but if you hover your mouse over each individual bar it tells how many percentage of players that bar represents and if you add the amount for all the bars to the right of platinum its only like 20% of all the players in Rocket League.

Im hard stuck in gold because of dumbass randoms. Gold is like Bronze, if not worse.
People going afk in the middle of games.
People that don't go for the ball.
People that can't clear the ball.
People that always have to go for the ball, and mess up for their team mates.

yeah not sure why trolls not dealt with, this tread is about rocket league not halo. but as i have said before the game and threads and trolled way too much and do not have proper management, people like myself wouldnt rant as much if people did their jobs, more and more people are leaving this game, its become overly toxic in all ranks, and it just seems like nothing is being done, otherwise people would be enjoying this game alot more.
