I give up, how do I get KITT in 2020?

Ok I've been through every setting in the game, searched the garage, inventory and shop and can't find where or how to unlock KITT. I also can't find any guides for anyone who just started playing Rocket League.

Can someone please tell me how or where you unlock KITT. Since the most recent patch it seems its not DLC anymore, and I haven't seen anyone else in the games I've been playing with it.
Is it only for ranked players, only on premium, only unlockable by rare random blueprint? what's the dealeo?

From what Psyonix said it may appear in the new item shop one day. But I would not get your hopes up.

As of Patch v1.70, all Premium DLC Packs will no longer be available for purchase. If you already own any items from the DLC Packs, you will still have those items in your inventory. Items from Premium DLC Packs may return for individual sale in the Item Shop at a later date.

Instead of having a limited variety of things to buy in the shop they should just have everything available and sorted by type and offer car packs at a discount so it is less than buying the items individually.

nobody is pretending, the lootbox system is gone and we have the shop now instead (for better or worse, that's debatable)

We Knight Rider fans are a small few. There isn't much anything related to the franchise out right now since its almost 40 years old. So having KITT in a popular game like RL is pretty cool

A troll complaining about trolling, lmao. If you're interested in a dlc car more than in the game itself, there's something wrong with you. People buy cosmetics because they love the game, you bought the game because you love a car
