Musty Flick with an Octane?

So ima silver boy and I wanted to learn the Musty Flick, it's been good few hours separated to two days, and hell no, I cannot do this
I always hit the ball with my butt and the ball escapes from me, or I hit it with my butt and then manage to get the flick hit with my windshield, but the hits are too weak
I changed my car to Dominus and I hit the Musty Flick on the first try, and even twice in a row, and they were not that weak like with the Octane
I tried few more times and I was hitting beautiful hits with Dominus, like 50% of the time
I switched back to the Octane and again, not a single one powerful enough Musty Flick
(I always played with Octane since I downloaded the game in summer, that was my first car switch so I never played with Dominus)

So am I doing anything wrong?
Could anyone explain what could be wrong?

I would also appreciate some recordings of Octanes doing a Musty Flick because for now it just seems to me that it is too difficult with Octane
Not impossible, but Musty Flick is something you should be able to do after 100h
Yet Octane's Musty Flick requires more skill than for example Dominus' Musty Flick

I ask because this is the last thing you should be doing at Silver. Maybe focus on being a better player before practising a purely stylish shot; your teammates will thank you.

I'm a single player person and I will be for the next 2 years before I'll be able to change my internet provider from 0.4-2mbp/s and minimum of 250ping
There was a new Mall Centre built next to my house which completely blocks the internet connection
