EPIC - Stop ruining rocket leage trading!!

OK, we can all agree that the blueprint update was bad and that they just did it to get more money. But now this? White zomba blueprint in the item store?. Not only does this screw up the price on the wheels (you pretty much scammed those who have white zombas). And it is clear that you just did this to make more MONEY. It doesnt matter that it is tradebanned. I beg you. DO NOT PUT TW OCTANE IN THE STORE.

Trading has been messed up well before the update.
You have to overpay for the items you want. And you get lowballed on every item you try to sell.
I'll just wait for the items I want to become available and buy them from the shop.
The community killed trading, not Epic or Psyonix.

Here is the kicker. It's not tradable. So nobody can sell them if they wanted too. But why would they? By tomorrow it will never be worth more than $10

I am 100% positive that White Octane will be in the item shop. Maybe on Christmas. They want their money and do not care who they isolate or upset. Glorifier BM decal was there 2 days ago. Dissolver will be there soon, and anything else worth a lot.

It purposely posted it as a question. Imaging if you saved up and got some white Zombas yesterday as a Christmas gift to yourself and saw them in the item store that next day for $10. people are going to be furious.

I am not a serious trader but I am proud of the few nice things I have that has grown in value. I play for the fun. (I'm garbage) and I have a lot of fun.

It would take a lot more for me to quit. (Changing the game) but I think this will push away a lot of people. I always thought the White Zombas were too flashy but White Octane? I want that White Octane but I would feel like a tool sporting that after it's been in the item shop.

Let's hope for the best but I see a storm brewing.

I prefer that Epic makes more money than item hoarders who do nothing with items but inflate the prices. This way more players can enjoy the good items.

This. Everything is getting price manipulated by some big traders. Tw zombas was increased by 2500c in less than a week. Now, those who actually want the item can buy off from psyonix instead of overpaying to some price manipulator.

Yes, it's easy to make people think a price is higher than they think. Most just look at 1 or 2 pages of trade posts but that's not the big issue.

They only screwed themselves.
At the start of the year, I bought a TW Octane for 103 Keys (10,300Cr). If they decide to bring it to the item shop for, say 1,000Cr. I won't be pissed off. That's just how it is. The community decided the prices of the items and wanted to be greedy.
I remember when TW Octanes were going for 40 -50 Keys way back in the day. I'd save and save so I could trade for it. And as soon as I had enough keys it had doubled in price. Almost over night.
People can't say Psyonix & Epic are the greedy ones when the community's been greedy from the start.

They only screwed themselves.

At most both companies and the community are guilty but truly, most of the community had nothing to do with it. At this point, I just want the option to delete 80% of my inventory. I have enough purple Veda Avas, etc. lol

The price was that high because it was manipulated slowly by community. People hoard item slowly over time and later sell for really high price. They cant make sudden changes like psyonix did. But the changes were definitely made by price manipulation over time. What if I told you there was a guy holding 40+ tw zomba. A youtuber hoarding 100+ black veloce. Another big trader holding 19 alpha caps. Obviously I wont state names because I dont want to start witch hunt.

If you leave it to community price of white zombas would keep increasing (It rose from 80keys to 130 keys before the blueprint update). Just like White Apex(from 70key to 230key), white helios(from 50key to 150key), alpha cap(150k to 450k), beta nugget(50k to 280k). Big traders already ruined the trading. Psyonix is just taking in-charge. Obviously it has both pros and cons.

Those items had an increase, not because of the manipulators, but bacuse of the need to these items and the people that chose the buy those items. Take Apex as an example. There is a pretty logical reason to why they are increasing in price. It is because there is no possible way to get then anymore(except for trading). That is the reason, not some dumb manipulator or lowballing stuff. What is do is i put a offer on the item i want on "RL-Garage" (with the exact pricepoint). And people will buy it from me. Trading is a skill that you can't cry about not having. It is luckbased and you have to get the right timing.

Yes, that is the point. I also started off with nothing. But with trading, and not everyone being able to buy everything for the sam price, i got to here i am today. It would be so booring if all of the items in rocket league had the same value. if all the bm were qorth the same, or tw zomba, the same as lobos. And the people who have saved up a lot of items, are smart. even tho i personaly don't think it is fun to have 30 tw zombas. but your friend here. lust lost hundreds of dollars to a desition that was imporoble to predict
