As of now, no. Devs are evaluating feedback, so expect a tweak similar to how they shortened the dance time at the end of matches.

Someone mentioned that they are bringing in paid XP or something like that. This would make sense, shoving it in our faces is part of selling it to people.

Psychologically I think it resembles a sales strategy from the mobile games market. Really sad.

A way I've seen that done is if your score in the match is under 50 points, the XP progression notification doesn't show up

Sad fact is Psyonix has viewed us as their personal cash machines since the first crate was successful and they've never done anything but keep pushing down that exploitative anti-consumer road since.

Yes. Leave match as soon as it finishes. You still get the xp as well.

Due to this, they might change it to have a skip option which still won't necessarily speed up things as other players might be looking at the numbers go up and you'll have to wait for them or they can be making everyone wait just because they can.

I feel the best fix is to automatically speed up the animation. Rather than allow people to skip and then having to wait for everyone else, they should speed it up so it takes 2- 4 seconds, not 10.

I think the best fix was that it never existed in the first place. We didn't need this, it's just another time sink jammed down our throats. I'm ok with the dancing but that is it. This XP thing is an Ad.

I don’t see it as an ad... I can understand being upset about it for as slow as it currently is but that’s about it.
If they were smart and made the animation faster from the start, no one would care. Maybe you still, but nowhere near as many people.

If this occurs, I will leave Rocket League permanently. I would be livid. I already stopped purchasing crates and just redistribute them to friends due to the no market issue.

Psyonix just want to ♥♥♥♥ over their game so heavily.
