Game keeps minimising ("alt-tab" ing)

This keeps happening to me for about the last month. Really annoying as it just does it randomly during games. It's doing it on my PC and my laptop. Any one else? Any fix?

Try changing the mode you run the game in. Fullscreen Vs. Borderless Window.

Try running it as a borderless window (provided the device you're playing on can take a small performance hit) and see if it changes.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't really feel I should be forced to play borderless.

Borderless window introduces input lag, not a good solution


Did u install any other software in the last few days? It can be running on the background and stealing the focus

I'm suggesting it as a troubleshooting thing, not a solution.

I remember there was another issue a bit ago, which caused tabing in and out of rocket league to take longer.

This was the fix for it, you had to change some windows settings. If you did this it could be the issue ^^

Thanks all. No. Aside from games, ms office and VLC, I have very little else installed.

I have it since the last big windows update but i also disabled something in windows settings to fix the tabing issue. Now i changed it back, well now it takes longer to tab in the game but maybe now it stops tabing out randomly. I will see with the time if it fixed the issue XD

this happens to me aswell, and it happens in several games, not just rocket league

If it happens in other fullscreen games i think it might be a cmd window that pops open and closes before you even notice. Sometimes windows does that when there's a registry error, trying to fix it.

For me what fixed this was to stop using DS4Windows. Now you can just plug and play with your wired dualshock 4 controller through steam, and no need to use steam input.
