Actually, i have noticed that in 3s, which i am platinum II and Gold III in 2s, players in both modes play with the same level of skill......even though one lot is Platinum II/III and the others are Gold II/III.

Its the clear sign that the system is messed up and is in dire need for a hard reset for Bronze I ---> Platinum III ranks, leaving Diamonds and Champions and Grand Champion ranks alone, i mean, you need to be good to get to Diamond and to keep it, i mean i was able to get to Diamond and stay there long enough to unlock the Diamond season rewards 99% solo-queue, it was all down to sheer luck on team mates.

Anyway, it is clear that they set group MMR calculations to highest in group, since i have yet to see a Diamond with a Silver in a gold match and that is a good thing, now all they need to do is the following.

1: Hard reset for Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum ranks, leaving the Diamonds, Champions and Grand Champions as a normal soft reset to prevent the massacre that happened at the last hard reset.

This will fix the problem that the matchmaking and ranking systems have right now due to the boosting in the previous seasons prior to their secret group MMR change.

Because you're playing with randoms who can't read your mind. The Matchmaking puts you with people of similar skill and I've never had an issue with who I've played with.

Because most people that solo q will just think " i have to carry" which, since you made this post, also applies to you. In a way at least. In Dia - have played my fair share there, the mechanic level is still extremely spread apart. there are people that rival champs in their mechanics and people who cannot aerial properly, ( i cannot do upside down aerials for the heck of it ) but that come to this level through good rotations. Work on your basic rotations and let the ballchaser play his chase. YOU have to adapt, not the other one. with that mindset, dia is VERY different from say plat and gold. You get people that think much more about their plays.

Also, getting a mate to duo q is pretty nice and much more fun either way, so try to find sb that you fit well together in playstyle

I played with several silver players the past few days to grind the rocketpass - i myself play at d2-d3 level.

I noticed how all the plats we had to play against literally got wrecked by my silver mates, wich i just randomly picked up via discord/teamforum - it's hilariouse how "worthless" it is nowadays to be a plat, theres feltet no difference in silver gold nor plat.
Same sort of wiffes, same sort of "missrotation" same sort of misspositioning.
They not even seemed to play that much faster then lower ranked players.

For me it looks like silver gold plat is stuffed with 90% of the playerbase while diamond 1 and 2 seem to act like a border.

Nope, everyone deserves a reset in the previous season,. Maybe keep the diamonds, and high up accounts one tier or so ahead of everyone else so that they can reclaim that spot again faster, but everyone must be reset. It's a new season - you're still wanting to be part of it.

The thing is, most people under a certain rank just suck, but the Diamonds THINK they can play and know everything, but they suck, too.
That's even more dangerous than the people that just suck.

If you are playing a 3vs3 ranked, your mates are not rotating, and you ask them to start doing it, all they will do is shoot, drive back to the middle, get 100 boost and then drive back to the front.

Most champs don't even know how to rotate.
I met so many players where i had to ask myself, how they even got in Dia in the first place.

If you want to succeed and rank up, you gotta stay behind, defend the goal and take care of your mates mistakes (unless you are really lucky and get decent mates, but that is less likely than getting 3 Dissolver in a row out of crates).

P.S: 3s and 2s player aren't playing on the same level. If you are on the same rank in 3s and 2s, 2s players are way better because they have to adapt to their mate and save more stuff instead of ballchasing. Mistakes get punished way harder in 2s, so most ppl tend to be more careful.

lol it's also a case of identifying #high - You need to not be part of the pack when three people on the same team start chasing the ball.. I understand exactly what you mean. There's far more synergy with 2v2 - compared to 3v3 -
2v2 keeps the approach of one attacking and one defending, and take turns when the ball comes back your way.
3v3 - usually -one dedicated goalie- is the person at the back of the pack - - but when people don't play that way.. it's a shame.. also a shame when they don't approach balls as the game begins..

you are REALLY adaptable then because i think EVERYONE has had a bad teammate and i myself have been that teammate as well.

EVERYONE has been that teammate. But the point is that you can't blame them if you aren't in direct communication with them.

The problem is pretty simple: People playing without a fixed team in 2v2/3v3 ranked face the same problem as everyone in 3v3 solo ranked: It's just random if you're put in a team with a good or a bad player. In the end it's more random if your rank goes up and down, then it has to do with your own skilllevel.
Although some people keep saying that someone who doesn't deserve his rank can easily carry a whole team, in my experience this is only true for players that are good in 1v1 (which has nothing to do with their 2v2/3v3 skills = rotation, aerials, passing).

Ya, Ive been the crappy player and Ive been the MVP. Its really hard to know what type of strategy the team is gonna use without communication. Last few games people have just seem undecided about what they wanted to do. I usually try and just fill in where I'm needed.
