Nickname just *******

Just wondering why my nick is ******.
Its only from Rocket League its like that, everywhere else its showing Fubar81.
Ive used it for 20 years online, and now suddenly a bad name...
Any idea?

Fubar means: fked up beyond any recognition (all repair) and was a slang/term from WW2 or the Vietnam war. Maybe change your nick to "honeyflower" or "rainbowbunny" instead... Devs r just stupid

Their filter is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. They need to make it something you can opt out of. Mine shows as *** Kitten cause "sex" is too bad of a word. I can make way worse names that they aren't blocking though. This isn't going to stop toxicity or racism or anything else along those lines, if anything it is only going to make people get more creative to fight back at it. That is why I change my name to the worst possible thing I can think of and can get past censors every time I play this game out of protest.

Im aware of the meaning of my name, and its of course one of the reasons i picked it, but just felt that something was wrong since i had used it for close to 20 years of my gaming career.
And i also know there is/was a pro gamer with the name of Fubar, and he would find the same problems.
Just dont get it why, there is so many more things that is much worse out there on the internet.
But as Brawndo say, just have to wait and see if they fix this with some patch, but i doubt it.

A couple years ago, somebody in this forum took exception to my posts (there are a LOT of those people, so I don't remember who it was) and tried to troll me by changing his Steam name to "GeneralQueers".

But come on! There is way more bad nicknames out there than that.
And its only been moderated out by RL, no other games i have played!
And i feel like this have been my name since late 1998 or so, so changing it is not an option!
