Takes forever to find games. What gives?

So this has been going on for months and I'm honestly fed up with it. I'll search for a game, with doubles, 3's, and rumble selected as my playlists. It will keep searching until it says "widening search to include ALL levels". But it doesnt find a game for a very long time. Its funny because at the very minimum it will show over 15,000 people currently playing in those playlists. Yet somehow it still takes 15-20 minutes to finally find a game.
No, it's not my internet, i pay a lot of money for very good internet. I never have lag issues, never have issues in game, and never have issues in any other game.
I usually just end up closing rocket league because I get bored of doing training or freeplay while waiting for so long.
Anyone else have this problem?

If it takes more than 15 seconds to change from searching to joining I usually check it . Make sure you have your region selected in the search . Or perhaps you may have AV or firewall blocking your connection to the servers .

Thanks for the reply. I have my region selected, NA west. And theres plenty of people in the playlists. I've checked everything, its not my firewall or antivirus. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled just because. Still takes FOREVER. Like i have no connection issues when I'm in game so it doesnt make sense. I'm searching for games while im typing this, been going for about 10 minutes.
