You've got to be joking me. 24 Hour Ban?
I've only ever been banned once in the history of playing RL (900 hours) and that was because I abandoned a match. But I just recieved a 24 hour ban for "Abusive Text Chat" with no chat log or game evidence of what I said. I have no way of knowing what I was banned for, and as far as I can remember I have not typed anything in chat that someone could deem as "Offensive text chat" for a ban. If someone can actually give me a chat log and prove to me why I was banned for 24 hours without being told why, I can accept the ban.

But if not, then I'm furious with the people hired by Psyonix who administer player bans. My guess is they just count how many reports a player gets and then bans them when they reach a certain amount. I highly doubt they even keep a record of chat logs since they don't even have the audacity to tell you what text you posted was deemed "Abusive". Maybe I wouldn't be so upset if I was actually given evidence as to why I was banned. The fact that a company who has made a cross-platform game that has sold millions of copies worldwide won't even have a simple chat log feature to go along with bans is unprofessional and outright disgusting.

They have an autobahn system that removes toxic trash from the game, either grow up or find a new pastime.

If there was some good reason as to why Psyonix won't take into account those factors.
They don't want vulgar language in their game, no matter the context in which it was used.

Saying that word doesn't make you sound smart or help your case.

Same could be said about your steam bio
Your point?

Rocket League sold over 10.5 million copies by early 2017, earning an estimated $110 million. Since then Rocket League has expanded to multiple different consoles, notably the Switch. Rocket League hit top of the charts on The Switch in an unbelievably low amount of time. Rocket League has been one of the most popular games on Steam since its release and has retained its popularity ever since its release in mid 2015. By now they have most likely sold at least another 2 million copies minimum and made more profit from all of the DLC and keys.

There is no way that a company that is capable of earning that much money off of a $20 game can't be bothered to hire more employees or spend more time looking at reports. If someone has less than 100 hours in the game, then I could see why using an automated ban system could help weed out negative influences and new accounts. But there is no reason that anyone with a significant commitment to the game should follow in the same suit.

Especially when in the entire history of their 950 hours of playing Rocket League, they have been banned only 1 time. If the auto-ban system is as you describe, then it's even more dissapointing to know from that where Psyonix's money goes. They clearly don't care about having a strong but fair ban system when they could be making more money investing in new DLC and crates while utilizing a cut and paste auto-ban system for the majority of players, regardless of skill level, hours played, or previous bans.

so you think players should be able to ignore the rules simply because they've been playing a long time? What a dumb statement.

Enjoy that ban.

Another person who thinks they've received a false ban...

Not sure what's worse...the people who say they only communicate via smoke signals or these people.

I believe you can appeal it on their website if you believe you really were wrongly banned. I think it would be nice if they explained what you said or did that got you banned. At least you would have an idea why. Obviously they shouldn't tell you what you said if you said something, but being banned for unsportsmanlike conduct or abusive chat, etc.

Since it didn't happen to me and I haven't actually found any proof of people just getting banned for no reason, I have to still believe that you were not wrongly banned.

you must of got baited into saying something that can trigger an auto ban after being reported but just do not remember.

when playing just keep in mind any cussing could potentially lead to a ban.

Don't worry, at near champ level, everyone curses but nobody reports. We all put enough time into the game and I don't think anyone would get someone banned for such simple curse words. (just dont use them towards anyone, especially teammates...) Oh, and dont use hard r's ever. Really easy way to get perma'd

I got banned as wel for 24 hour. Ive tried reaching support to find out what exactly made me got banned but they dont have chat logs apparently so wtf.?

Thanks for contacting the Rocket League Support Team.

We detected that your account was reported for verbal harassment and upon looking at the logs we found that foul words were used on the chat. We want to provide a fun and safe environment for our players, which is why we review reports and apply sanctions if our code of conduct was broken.

We only look at the chat logs if an account was reported, meaning if you have received a sanction it is because another player was offended by what was said. More information is available here: https://www.rocketleague.com/news/new-ban-practices-season-4-rewards-update/

Please note that we do not disclose the names of users who submitted reports and the chat logs cannot be disclosed at this time.

If I can help you in any other way, please let me know.

Best regards,

Allyce

Im not the type of player who swears in (voice)chat when it comes to this game. The worse things i could have said are: git gud, Road to silver/bronze, sh*t teammates, 2vs3 thx, wtf r u doing.

Apparently that is enough

Not having them and not disclosing them are two very different things.

They have the chat logs, that's what the reports does, it sends them the match's chat log, they're not showing those logs to the players because people were trying to find out the words and variations on the word list through it.

I don't know if it's a generational thing or a Dutch thing but yeah, the S word is definitely considered a swear word in most parts of the Western world. Of course saying your team mates are S- is breaking the no profanity rule.
Had a guy say it to me recently and when I warned him about swearing he seemed (or acted) totally oblivious to his use of a swear word, flat out denying it. Wasn't sure if he genuinely didn't know S- is a swear word or if he was trying to bait me into repeating it, but it's quite funny to see some people don't know what swear words actually are.

Nice Nazi crap on your profile too. Ban deserved I guess.
Really? Nazi? lol.
