Are decryptors worth it?

ive grinded to 50 spring tokens and i was wondering wether to get the decryptor or the spring crate.

Your first mistake is thinking of it as a grind. Just play the game. Stop worrying about flowers

No one can tell you if it's worth it. IF you use a decrypter whatever you get is not tradable.

I don't really buy keys and I get enough to get a few things I want then blow the rest on decypter + crates.So that's what I do.

I also hold onto my flowers until the end usually so I can see how many crates I get dropped. I usually open one crate to see what I get then hold off until the end for these events.

Basically psyonix knows the community would flip out if they didn't give people a way to open a small amount of crates for free. Rainbow 6 Siege did this with the Outbreak even and the community flipped. That's the only reason decypters are there. So you have the option to get stuff if you don't buy keys.

I'm really sure you can buy everything just playing for like 3 days. I know because I already bought everything but the 99999 crates. So .... in the end it won´t matter

Get the 5 decryptors first and the amount possible of crates after. Decryptors are still limited, only available in event.

I play maybe two hours per day and I always unlock everything for these seasonal events. I am usually done unlocking everything (except the crates which is impossible) with 5-10 days left.

I wouldn't stress getting the unlocks. As long as you are playing the game, you should have enough by the end.

I would honestly unlock everything else before the crates unless you want to buy keys for all of the crates.

Pros and Cons for Decryptors go as following:

Pros:
-You get the same items that you would as a normal key.
-Decryptors are free. They cost you maybe an hour or two of game time to earn enough credits for them.

Cons:
-You are unable to trade these items.
Yes that is a real let down, but at least you got to open a crate and possibly got something really cool.

I've got a black market decal and a couple cars from using decryptors. So I definitely say they are worth it.

But when you used them the items are not tradeable, so it's up to you. If you don't care too much about trading then get decrpytors, but remember that if you happen to get something that everyone wants, you are left with nothing for it.

I would get the crates. The crates are for a limited time and can be used with regular keys, and are tradeable. You get more use out of getting those crates because you can trade them for items/keys as well. I would just stock up on crates until the event if over lol.

Better get something good and not be able to trade it than not get anything at all. Conspiracies aside, getting something good with a decryptor doesn't lower your chances of getting something good with keys.
