Apparently hitboxes are all sorts of messed up now.
Yeah, play ranked, get screwed over by a random hitbox that denies a perfect save. WHEN IM CLEARLY blocking that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ball. Had these similar problems last season and now it´s even more frequent than before, uninstalled for now, so done with the randomness. 500 hours wasted just to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by hitboxes when you are making perfect saves.:steamfacepalm: RIP my Diamond rank if I were to continue this with such bull...

Don't know about chilvary, but rocket league is very sensitive to it, if you're affected by packet loss even in other games, then it's a huge problem for RL.

Don't know about chilvary, but rocket league is very sensitive to it, if you're affected by packet loss even in other games, then it's a huge problem for RL.

When my packet loss is literally in the 0 digits, 0,0003 for example.

I can't help feeling it would be useful to know if OPs car was one of the ones that did get its hitbox changed to fit in to one of the 5 categories to make things "better".

That is to say, it could be a function of both packets and boxes giving the experience.

I use the new DC DLC Batmobiles, Fast & Furious cars, Mantis, Endo. Mainly just DLC and Import cars.

You may be experiencing *contention* if your ISP has overloaded your local area. You may be experiencing *throttling*, if your ISP has a traffic managment policy.

Neither of those show up in ping - I have experienced both of them.

Could be, though there are times when I block shots but for some weird reason the car hitbox makes it so that instead of hitting the ball forwards, it slams directly under me though my car is going in a forward motion.
Op, what program did you use to test for Packet loss, and did you test your rl server while playing?. Can you post your results for us
I use pretty much the set cars as you myself. I haven't noticed a difference. But I can say, months and months ago(before those cars were even out) they changed the hitbox especially to be more standardized. There's only 5 hitboxs.

Preset Cars

Octane style --Backfire, Bone Shaker, DeLorean Time Machine, Gizmo, Grog, Marauder, Merc, Octane, Octane ZSR, Proteus, Road Hog, Road Hog XL, Scarab, Takumi, Takumi RX-T, Triton, Vulcan, Zippy


Dominus style - - '70 Dodge Charger R/T, Aftershock, Dominus, Dominus GT, Hotshot, Ice Charger, Masamune, Ripper

Plank - - Centio V17, Mantis, Paladin, Twin Mill III

Breakout - - Animus GP, Breakout, Breakout Type-S

Hybrid '99 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, Endo, Esper, Jäger 619 RS, Venom, X-Devil, X-Devil Mk2

And the "batman vs superman" batmobile. Technically has its own hitbox. But it's very similar to the Dominus.
Saw my packet loss readings when I was still playing Chivalry regularly, player list showed both ping and packet loss for players on that game.

Well unfortunately that tells you nothing for rocket League.
Different games have different servers in different places. You could have one path to your chivalry game and have minimal loss but then the path to the rl server you may be dropping Packets somewhere. It's like traveling from your home town to 2 different cities. Traffic and roads my be different.
