Get a refund fast. I wish I could. I have 300 hours and have had the same issues with trash performance.
i7-700K, GTX 1070, 16 GB RAM.
Gtx 1060 6gb
16gb ram
Willing to bet capable is an understatement. As I said, I was having 200fps. Now it keeps dropping to 1, and never managed to play a single match.
Still I had good fun for the first hour I played, cause the second (in-game)was spent dealing with the issue and testing solutions that DON'T work.
Is it updated often, or if I decide to wait I'll have a white beard by the time I can play again?
Yeah just refund it. I can get a normal framerate with the game but I get unbearable stuttering and frame drops at times for no discernable reason, and it gets worse with every patch. They have not and likely will not fix the problem. Even if or when you get it sorted out, the game is still going to be laggy and drop frames on the main menu.
It's not really updated that often, and even when they do update it it's usually just additions and never polish/fixes, which is why the state of the game gets worse for me with every update. They're always sure to add another loot crate too!
EDIT: My bad, they release bug fixes, but certain issues still never get fixed. Notably server and client performance. For the longest they gave excuses for the former, and completely ignored the latter, but they've finally acknowledged it. Who knows if they'll ever get fixed? We can hope, but only time will tell.
I'd like to get a few more opinions, but from what I understand there is no fix anyway. I searched before asking here and didn't find any worthy info, best tips I found were about settings I already have, or tried
If this thread takes me nowhere by tomorrow, I'm getting a refund and giving a thumbs down explaining the reason.
Also, the settings you mention in the second part I had done a long time ago, DVR, game bar, game mode, Xbox are all disabled.
I tweaked some settings through Nvidia panel as well, both for the game and global. Still nothing :(
I know there is no hardware problem, all games I have (even some that are poorly optimized) are running smooth, even if I had to tweak something in the beginning for a few of 'em
I actually didn't think to scan for errors yet (I only reinstalled and verified a few times), but I just did and there are no errors.
Honestly I wish it wasn't so fun. I would have just refunded it, cause I am within the limit, but dem it I wanna play the thing
I played 2 matches back to back and they were just as buttery smooth as it was in the beginning. Steady 200fps, and I even saw a 209 at some point.
Very happy I got it to work, hopefully there will be no more hickups. Thanks!
