So what exactly do the red triangles represent?
This happened to me just a moment ago... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1352013040 However it wasn't displaying anything else in regards to connection.

I get the feeling all those symbols mean the same, that there is an issue with the server. I had this symbol, the packet loss symbol, server health symbol and the disconnection symbol already. In different matches, thing is all other players in the match had the same symbol at the exact same time.

When you go back to the main menu it asks you if you want help to fix it. This help results in changing a ton of stuff on your pc, your router and so on. No idea why you should change stuff that doesn't help if it clearly is the server. Specialy since the tournament update everything got worse.

Every second or third match packet loss symbol the whole match, every player in this match. Sometimes packet loss symbol disapears after someone shot a goal XD Again for all players in this match it happened at the same time. How is it supposed to be the player if everyone in this match gets the same symbols at the same time!?

For that matter is there a place ingame where I can see what the other symbols mean, weithout having to look for the update notes and all?

Every time I said "everyone had an issue at the same time on the server" people ín this forum tell me to fix my connection. :happymeat:

It can be a connection issue in some cases but most of the time it is pretty obvious that it is a server or routing issue which you can't fix with the tipps they give you. I am not sure but i bet if you change everything what a support tells you it could create issues on a working system, i mean support from any game. Always feels like they just try to silent you with their copy/paste answers.

At the moment even more players have issues on rocket league since the tournament update but still they send you tipps that you should change things on pc, router and so on. Why?

It's the fact I didn't get any other symbols coming with it. As it was happening to all players yet no symbol at all not even a server health one.

So far i think you have to check update notes. I didn't see anything ingame yet.

Actually I've noticed the name Packet Loss come up at one point in-game underneath the icon.

Seems i missed it then.

Happened to me more than one time already but the result is always the same, the ball acts crazy when you or someone else hits it.
They just prefered to tell everyone their connection is bad. Not the servers. Legit

As part of the upcoming Tournaments Update, we’re rolling out a new set of client-side connection quality indicators that will tell you what kind of connection issues you’re currently experiencing mid-match. That means that there will no longer be a single 'Red Triangle of Death' on the right side of your screen to cover all of the bases. You’ll also see a ‘!’ pop up next to your ping on the Scoreboard if one or more of these indicators are active while you’re playing. If the connection issue persists, you'll also get a pop-up in the Main Menu confirming the connection issue type.

Seems it is supposed to also show one of the 5 symbols when you see the ! next to your ping. Maybe the server is to busy with his issue and can't decide which symbol to show this time XD
