Xbox seems faster to me...
So I play both PC and Xbox One but whenever I switch from PC to Xbox, the Xbox seems faster. My I'm using the same monitor for both (Sony Bravia TV 60Hz). I also have my PC set to 250 max fps.

I just don't know what it is my Xbox just seems more responsive and snappier, like I'm getting better FPS on my Xbox than PC...

Well, your pc might have worse specs than your console does.

This might be the problem. If the TV maxes out at 60 FPS, raising your PC's maximum framerate above 60 won't do anything useful. But when the PC is trying to draw at a framerate that's not a multiple of 60, you can get lag or skipped frames.

DelinquentDave, what other PC games do you play that have consistent fps? You can use those games as evidence that it's not your PC. I wouldn't have to ask if your profile wasn't private.

I'm an Xbox One player as well by the way and I've been considering purcashing RL for the PC to suppprt Psyonix (incoming smurf) so this information from someone who has experienced both systems helps a lot.

Bring up your Steam overlay and go to Settings. Then on the In-Game tab turn your fps counter on. Then you'll know what fps you are getting in Rocket League and any other Steam game.

I have also played on Xbox and PC runs so much more smooth for me. I even have fps issues in Dropshot on Xbox, makes it hard to play.

Make sure vsync is off so you don't get input lag.

It's the motion blur making it seem faster perhaps . It can be turned off on pc.

So if i use an Xbox on a 144 hz panel it is going to play smoother than a gaming pc ? I don't think so . Some PC users will incorrectly set up and optimise their PC and blame the games they play for performance issues .

Also capping FPS to considerably higher than your panels refresh will give frame lag issues , something that is also capped on a console and not left tp the users decision .
