Fake Kickoffs
Okay so I'm Plat 3/D1 (i literally cannot stay in one or the other for long) and when queuing with randoms I find alot of players have aboslutely no clue to look for these, or they just drive off to get boost when i call i got it. So I'm going to explain how to fake kickoff so hopefully there will be more players using them.

1. The Positioning. A fake kickoff occurs when one player is at the farthest back starting position and the other player(s) are in the places right in front of the farthest back but slightly to the left/right.
2. The Execution. A fake kickoff normally is called by the player in the farthest back position as they are the one who will hit the ball. He will signal to his teammate(s) that he wants a fake kickoff by using the "I got it!" quick chat. The player will usually say it 2 or 3 times to make sure his teammate(s) are aware of it as some people do not notice quickchat instantly as they are too involved in the game. When the match begins the player to the left (unless its 2s in which case the only other player on the team regardless of being on the left or right) will drive at full speed towards the ball, only to turn/dodge at the last moment making the opponent hit the ball directly to the player who was farthest back. The player who faked should head for the nearest mid boost immediately. The player who is farthest back and receiving the ball will try to hit the ball to his teammate who is downfield getting mid boost. Hopefully this will result in a quick goal.

3 Other important information.

As the goalkeeper, try not to move left or right as having that straight line will allow you more accuracy with your pass. Though do not be afraid to creep forward a little to grab that pilot light penny directly in front of goals.

When playing 3s the person on the right side should immediately go for the right side mid boost, leaving the left for the faker. This Give the goal keeper 2 options

If the ball is rolling towards you, the goalkeeper, do not jump when you hit it. hitting it without jumping will chip the ball high into the air and allow your teammate to hit a wall/ceiling shot. Jumping when hitting the ball will weaken the shot.

Hopefully this will aid your game and skittle your opponents
