Clan tags?

I can imagine this feature has been requested before.

Yes, I know that you can add a clan tag to your Steam name, but I'd rather not clutter my username in other games or on my profile with said tag. Would be a cool feature in a future update!

I’d be down with this as long as you get an option to disable them if you wish.

Almost like in CoD where you can have up to 4 letters in it would be nice, or have it to where you can use a steam group as a clan tag

I'd be fine with clan tags, don't see a problem with it. As Woody Bobo also said, an option to disable it would be nice. Most rocket league teams have 3 letter acronyms so have the tag 3 letters.

Steam group integration sounds great too. Doesn't CS:GO do that too?

It would definitely be a good thing for it to be optional, you can see if somebody's in a party anyways.

I just think clan tags would be pretty cool. Three or four letters, I don't know. Three makes more sense to me for some reason. I think that's what they use for football/soccer teams on TV too.
