How does anyone play this game at 60 hz?

Man, I think I screwed myself. I got used to playing this game at 120+ (144 mainly) hz and just today, logged in on my buddies 4k tv which like most 4k tv's only displays at 60 hz at 4k. No issue gpu wise as it seems to be holding at constant 60 but it feels like the entire control scheme is off.

I 'd hoped that after a few mins practicing that I'd just adjust but it literally feels like the entire timing of the game is off, having a really hard time adjusting and don't want to screw my teammates in competetive mode
Anyone else experience this any suggestions? I've got a while till I get my own monitor shipped down here.

Here's the answer to the OP: when your choice is to play Rocket League at 60hz or not at all? That's not even a damn choice. It's like trying to do without sex, except that you can't get any kind of sexually-transmitted disease from Rocket League, unless somebody----

Anyway, imagine life with no Rocket League. Now stop screaming. There's your answer. A lot of people are going to suck in the gut and deal with the lower frame rate.

i only get like 80FPS max at minimum graphics in the main menu screen.

I found a solution, this lgtv only does 60hz at 4k but if I drop it to 1080p then it will do 120.
Let me be clear, I am not demeaning anyone that plays at a lower frame rate. They are in fact better than me. I simply adapted at the higher fps and was honestly shocked to find that going back made it next to unplayable.

that guy is getting between 60-100 FPS average at 8k, so im pretty sure he could get 120 FPS average at just 4k.

what mafs are you expecting me to do to come to the conclusion that he would definitely be able to get 120 FPS at 4k? all resultion changes is how much GPU you are using, so if the guy was only using like 50% of his GPU on average then it wouldent really change his FPS much if he started only using 25% of his GPU. so its not really as basic mafs as you say it is.

Going from 60hz to 144hz Rocketleage was literately the only game that didn'r feel smoother, even at 140fps.
