What sounds keeps cutting out? All of it? Some of it? Crackling noises? Does it take the system sounds with it?

So if you were playing music in the background, it would be unnaffected?

It sounds like RL has a conflict with some piece of hardware. If you're running your audio out of your video card, I'd reccomend you reinstall your graphics card driver (which has an option to handle your audio) and do a clean install. If it's coming out of your motherboard, check and see if there are any updates to the driver for your audio device.

Or do a verify on your game. It seems your computer may skipped a file when downloading, can't find the file or the file is corrupted.

I'm having this problem too. It just started. Has anyone found a fix?

They did a patch that screwed with how the sound is processed. If you are using a headset with a mic then go into your sound settings and make sure it is set to the default generic speakers if it is listed. Also go into the properties for it and under advanced set it to allow apps to take exclusive control over the device. If its already enabled then disable it and try that. Rocket leagues sound has always been pretty messed up but since the last patch it is now awful >_>

For me, the 3 2 1 count is so loud I have to take my headset off when in matchmaking but the games overall volume is set to 8% where i can barely hear my car lol.

Anyways, if neither of these things fix it i would message support. The game has a lot of diagnostic tools built in, you just need to know the right launch commands. Be sure to screenshot your settings since they will most likely make you switch them to default at some point.
