All items missing.

So my account is under steam guard with mobile authenticator. I uninstalled rocket league to make room for another game like a month ago. Today I decided to reinstall RL and I log back in and all my imports, cars, and black market items are missing. How could this have happened? Where have my items gone!!!!? Im so upset right now I'm about to just uninstall the game. Literally hundreds of dollars worth of case openings just gone. I put in a ticket with psyonix, but any help anyone might be able to provide me with would be great....if i dont get these items back ill probably just uninstall and forget this game exists. RIP.

No, steam cloud is on. Havent been on any kind of website that required a steam log in, other than steam itself. Tried verifying game files and everything....idk what happened but it seems like my account was hacked.

Those would be my guesses. You probably logged into a shady website or clicked on a link by accident. Thus your account was hijacked.

It literally doesnt make any sense though. Even if that were true, how would they get past the mobile authenticator?

items, steam cloud? has nothing to do with steam or am I wrong?

Steam could saves your games for you, even if you install on a different computer. I know this because my old computer burnt out. And Steam cloud remembers my game and items.

This is what many people say on this forum because they think it was the real steam website they logged on. Problem is, their are fake steam websites, they look like steam website but aren't. There are people trying to get you to log on at those websites, telling you that you would get free keys or items. Then you log on at this website which gives them all they need to log on your account and take your items.

Psyonix confirmed there was a trade from my account, though I don't know how this is possible. They confirmed it was done by a different IP address, and who the items were sent to. What is sad is that they will not refund the items even knowing that I was somehow hacked. They sent me a nice link that tells me to do things that were completed basically right after my account was created....im using steam guard with mobile authenticator. I dont know how its possible for my account to be hacked. Steam servers would also need to be hacked to bypass this, even if my password was known, which is pretty unlikely as I am not a derp.

Well, I dont click on links out of fear of being scammed, my inventory is too expensive to be doing dumb sh*t like that. If going to steam.com or logging into my steam account on my PC is compromised then i may as well sell everything now.

For someone to steal your Rocket League items, they only need to access your account once. If you have a keylogger, or logged into a fake site, you gave them your authenticator code, which stays active for a while after it is used. After that, your authenticator is not needed for RL trade. That’s why they only went after those items. If they went after items from other games, they’d require you to approve each trade via your attached device.

Yeah, I get that. However, I most likely didn't do this. The fact that psyonix won't refund some pixels is ridiculous.

A previous crash or saving error may have lead to a save file corruption. Head to My Documents -> my games -> Rocket League -> TAGame -> SaveData -> DBE_Production. There will be some .save files. Firstly backup these files somewhere, be it your desktop for now. Then, delete the .save file in DBE_Production, then copy a .save file from the backup folder to DBE_Production. Open Rocket League and see what loads. If no good comes, delete that .save folder file and repeat with another backed-up save file. I've had to do this twice before. If you don't feel confident trying this then don't do it.

The same thing happened to me and everything is gone but i actually filled in a survey and after that everything just disappeared. All my money just wasted
