Remote Play Together How To's?
A: i have a friend who doesn't have RL. when i remote played with her, she did not get her own car and stuff, but took over my whole game and controls and ran around doing stuff on my car.
i'm on pc, not a console... i know consoles have local multiplayer, but the pc doesn't support that? is that what's going on there?

B: i have another friend who does have RL. if i want him to come to my local game to play custom maps together... does that work with the remote play? i know it doesn't work with creating a party :/

thanks, guys!

She needs to own the game as far as I know. And the game does have local 2 players.

Actually, only one person has to own the game, everyone else will simply connect to them via Remote Play, i.e. audio and video from the host will be sent to everyone else and input such as mouse and keyboard interaction are sent to the host.

Some extra info here:

Good to know, thanks! My bad for not getting it but they should advertise it more then, it's a big factor.

it should work, you launch the game, open the friend list, right clic and remote play invite him. he will act as player 2

My assumption is that both players have to be using controllers. If two people who are actually trying to play in the same room try to use a keyboard and a controller, it wouldn't work. Both have to use their own controller.
I ve tried it boys. Sadly, it's not working. So here how it is, I started my game and invited my brother with remote play button. Then he were in my lobby. Great !! But, one : it's split screen. Two : I had a black screen on my side of the screen. I reported Psyonix.

I've been testing several games and while it works surprisingly flawlessly in some, it doesn't work in others.

All MK games, Cuphead, Enter the gungeon all work well and have close to no input lag. NBA 2k works but we've only made the mkeyboard work for some reason. And others game dont work at all.

I wonder if there is some controller connections or conflict with controls doing that?
Would be nice, if the host would see what went wrong, if the system would know.
In some games, it just works by being connected and that is all you need a connection.

I tried too, with no luck. On the other side, it just said it failed to connect.
Might just be an Beta issue?
