https://www.rocketleague.com/news/the-item-shop--a-closer-look/
It does say that each key will be turned into 100 credits, the real question is how expensive will blueprints be to open + to buy items from item shop.
i think that blackmarkets will increase in price
like
retired blackmarket series(cc1-cc4)
It will be like the pass, no doubt.
You can 'discover' items from those BP. <- Say you SEE a good i tem in that BP.
You can trade taht "discovered" item for a few credits.
YOU get a few credits.
THE OTHER PERSON gets you 'good item in a BP' (has to spend credits to get that BP from you and has to spend some credits OPENINIG the BP to get the shown item).
So I think we will be able to get credits way more easily than it was to gety keys.
But you'll have to have luck 'discovering' items in BPs.
In case you need an example:
1) you get a BP after leveling up.
2) that BP is NOT TRADEABLE till you don't 'discover' what's inside
3) as it is FREE you make the 'discovering item' from the BP that you got
4) now it is TRADEABLE. If the item shown is top tier you'll easily find someone interested.
5) If you want the item shown, you can spend credits to OPEN and get the item.
6) If you don't want the item shown, you can trade it for credits to someone really interested in OPENING that ITEM.
It stops gambling cause opening is not 'credit related'. But opening is. If you see a blac market item inside (before wasting credits) you can feel lucky anyway xD
EDIT: I'm not sure if droped BP will have items 'revealed' or hidden. Crates we have in our inventory now will be turn into BPs with unrevealed items. In any case, mechanics in trade I think will be similar to what I've writen. The one wanting a revealed item will have to pay twice. 1st to get the revealid item in a BP, 2nd to finally open and get the item.
Maybe a list of "locked items vs value in credits" will be available soon.
Thay way it was created a list of items/keys or items/VRNC.
it's overpriced as hecc
I was thinking about "my 10 keys now would open 10 crates, i.e. 10 items. When those 10 keys will be turne in 1000 credits... How many items would I get from blueprints? O.o? 5? 6? 3?"
I'm sure they won't be 10 items anymore.
At least they will be worth items I really want.
1 key will be 100 credits and the prices to buy credits will be:
500 4,99 USD
1100 9,99 USD
3000 24,99 USD
6500 49,99 USD
