Report a translation problem
I don't understand, why I have to connect to Russian, Spain servers, if I can connect to the German ones?
The latency sometimes drops and increases every second, leaving the slow and powerful shots uncatchable.
They're slow, and all of sudden, they're in a net within a blink of an eye.
I experience exactly the same issues every night (EU) since they sold the game to Epic. In my view, Rocket League is dead now.
The same happens to me as well, I report and nothing happens, well except for the trolls that order me to fix my internet.
By the way, what is the new game called? I would be interested since Rocket League is dead.
You are totally right. Thank you for that. Ticket submitted. I will report back when they reply to me.
I would also like to say that posting here is not exclusively intended to be seen by Psyonix. It is intended to be also seen by the community.
It is not because Epic bought Psyonnix. It is doesn't matter what rank the players are who say they have issues nor does it matter what rank the players are who say they are not having issues. What matters is the location of the servers the people who are having issues are connecting to and where they are connecting from.
There is a report server button in the report screen in game, if the server is flaking out report it so Psyonix will have the feedback needed to see there is a problem, that is why they put it there.
There are also times when the issue is on the end user side of things, not always with their in home network but also with their isp. There are many factors which could cause connection issues and believe it or not most of those factors are outside of Psyonix control.
However i understand for alot of people it is just easier to rage against Psyonix or blame Epic then actually find the root cause of their issue.
The report server button is useless, as I have said previously I have submitted reports for pretty much every server I played in the past week or so (with a few exceptions) and the problem still exists.
Now, this problem I never had before in my 2 years of playing Rocket League. Not once. It all started around the time Epic bought Psyonix.
Also, it might indeed be easier to rage against Psyonix or blame Epic, but that is irrelevant. The point is that it is indeed their fault and that they are indeed the cause of this problem. I am sorry to blame your employers but that is the sad truth. You can face it and move on.
No
First i am not employed by any gaming company. I am not a shill for any gaming company, i am just trying to point out a few things. Just because you have been playing for 2 years with no issue does not mean that the issue is on the server side of things. Anything could have happened between you and the servers at any time. from an issue with some hardware between you and the servers, a change made by your isp, a change made by the isp that psyonix uses on the server side, anything. All you can do is report when you have a bad server and investigate other possible causes of your issue on your end. If every server you are hitting is having an issue then odds are very high that the issue is not the servers but somewhere between you and the server.
