I'm so bad at this game now, Diamond 1....

i've played 641 hours.

stuck in a slump for 6 months, can't get out. my skills keep getting worse, my rank is diamond in 1v1 and 2v2 but now i'm accepting the fact that i'm playing like a silver-gold now, also my friends in gold are carrying me in games, when i play with them i make more mistakes and stupid decisions but when i see them play i feel like they are pro players and also i feel like when i play against plat 1 i'm having a hard time and i have to go tryhard to beat them, it feels like plat 1 players for me are really hard to play against. it's making me question how i even got to diamond in the first place. i'm whiffing so much more, i force myself to play faster - i sweat but i end up failing more and i get angry with this game.

i used to be so good at this game now i'm crap. i've taken many 1 month breaks and nothing works. it's like the rocket league gods have cursed me.

i played today for 1 hour and LOST EVERY GAME.

i'm thinking of giving up on this game tbh

i'm in the same boat, sadly. the problem is, i've been at this for well over 2000 hrs on 3 different accounts. highest i ever got was champion 2, and on a good day i can compete there, but any other day... literally any rank can sweep me. i know my positioning is ass and my mechanics are weak and astonishingly inconsistent but what is really making this game hell for me is the mental component. i can't figure it out and it sucks. i'll probably never quit, tho. wouldn't even know how. rocket league is without a doubt the best game i've ever played in my life.

seems like you guys might need to warm up or play dribble maps or do some basic aerial training so you can get the hang of the game and rise above, the reason pros are good is because they're coached and spend more hours in training than actually playing the game

it's not your problem, it's just this MM that it's so bad, you can just derank fast and stop ruining the matches or others and make them lose, even if you don't want do it, you are ruining their matches and their hard work to win their rank.

This game is manipulated. Dynamic difficulty combined with rigged MM. It's not you, the inconsistency is by design. It's designed to make you grind. Start a new account and I guarantee you will be placed much higher. ♥♥♥♥ psyonix devs.

This is not conspiracy. If you have more than a couple hundred hours and can't see this for yourself, then you deserve to be played by the game you're playing.

well, for starters i dont see anything wrong with it, it pairs you with people with similar rank, lets say you're plat 2 you may get paired with plat3 or a plat 1 but its not that big of a difference, if the rank you're playing agaisnt is higher or lower than yours you'll get more or less mmr, which again i dont see anything wrong with that

i played since 6hours, and lost maybe 50 matches & win 5 match, came from dia 2 now platin 2, idk, i think the new patch delete anything, i dont remember that iam lost every match, i hate this game x)
