The game seems to adjust when I hit the key combinations as described above and move in and out of super sonic speed.
It's all kinda random.
Once something is locked in(say heavy car, or sloppy car, whatever) it stays locked in even after game reset.
Hitting the key combination again removes the current state of the game and gives me some other state of the game.
Not sure on this one but a few times while testing this I experienced massive frame drops. Been kinda having this issue anyhow since the last update so not sure if this plays into what im finding.
The in game camera seems to slow down to what I would call a normal speed. I've always kinda thought my in game camera seemed really fast at times and also acted really odd a lot.
Here is a big one. After 4k hours I found it really odd that I still could not get the ball to stick to my car. I've always blamed that on a game issue. Now as I continue to hit the key combination in game, the ball sticks to my car like glue.
The ball no longer bounces off my car in crazy random fashion when I get the game in what I would call a normal state.
When hitting the ball with my car(no dodge) my car no longer flings it's self off in crazy directions. The car feels solid and continues the same path it was on prior to hitting the ball. Again only when I can get it into the correct state with the key combination.
THE MAJOR DOWNSIDE
Since what I believe and have tested and tested and continue to get the same results, being that the key combinations of slightly pressing right trigger while boosting a few times and possibly entering and exiting super sonic speed is part of normal game play, I can't keep it where It feels, looks, responds, and just seems right for long without mistakenly hitting that combination again.
I'm still currently waiting on Psyonix to respond to my ticket in hopes they can help!

Setting the Windows Power options to high performance might help with this but since you're on a laptop, doing this without the laptop connected to the power cable will drain its battery quickly.
Since you're using Nvidia, I'd strongly advise you to enable Tile-Based Rendering that is not active by default in the game and will make the game considerably more consistent in performance.
Have the game closed, go to Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\Config, open the TASystemSettings.ini and find the line "BinnerTileCache". Set it to True and change the "BinnerTileResX" and "BinnerTileResY" to 128 (assuming you're using 1920x1080 resolution), save the file and close it.
There is also another line you can change in TASystemSettings.ini that will make the game more responsive on inputs. "OneFrameThreadLag" set to False.
Another thing that is worth testing in the game options, is the Input Buffering.

I've tested all 3 and what suits me best is STS, it's worth to check it out.
Thank you Hoss of Pain, I will try all of the above mentioned. I appreciate the knowledgeable information as that is by far the most help I have ever received in helping me overcome my RL game play issues!
Hey Vloxtun, I'm also a HCB sufferer.
May I know what you mean by 'Right Trigger' here? Is it the 'gas' button? What controller are you referring to? I am using Playstation DualShock 4. If you're not referring to this controller, is there any 'Right Trigger' in this controller? If not, are there any alternatives? Thanks!!!
Then you took a break and it went away.
That makes no sense, it's the exact same game across all accounts.
