Rocket League

Rocket League

Statistiche:
Just ordered a 144hz Monitor.
Is there anything i have to watch out for or keep in mind? will be my first time switching to 144hz, right now im playing on 60hz, with an average of 400 frames, so i should have no problem to have the needed frames.

will the difference be big or will it be a small QoL improvement feeling wise?
Feel free to give some input of your experiences while changing to 144hz or maybe even 240hz

I went from 60hz to 100hz, and it was a huge difference. 144hz will only be that little bit better. Your life won't change, but you'll notice and appreciate the difference.
I just wnet from 60 to 144.its insane. I cant even play at 60 anymore.
If you play rocket league on PC and you dont have 144 hz monitor. Go back to console.
Cause you're literally here wasting your potential.

It was probably the lack of condoms that lead to him needing to value other things.
The biggest difference I felt when switching was more responsive controls and the ability to see things clearly while turning. On 60hz, things become a mess when the camera is turning fast.

Make sure you adjust your response time when you get your new monitor. A lower response time will lower pixel persistence and result in less blur and smooth motion. Your monitor may have an advertised response time of 1ms or such but it will most likely have a higher value set as default. Some panels can't actually operate at their advertised response time without getting a visual effect called overshoot, so you will want to see how low you can go.
Make sure you actually change your monitor refresh rate once you get the new monitor, or you'll still be playing at your old refresh rate and not reaping the benefits.

144 hz is great, the game feels a lot more fluid and easier to control. I won't say it's a huge advantage, but it's certainly an edge!

okay cheers, will look into this! i got the AOC G2590PX, my two main requirements were 144hz and 1ms reaction time. right now im on a benq gl2450 which has 5ms i believe and only 60hz, been using it since years, and recently for my nintendo switch aswell, my 2nd monitor is funnily enough also a benq gl2450 but a non hdmi one, which i have owned even longer. this one will then get retired, and ill use my hdmi and the new one via display port. dont really need 3 monitors lol
use the right cable that supports 144hz and dont forget to switch your settings in windows to display 144hz

It comes with all the needed cables, so i just assume that those will support 144hz. will use it via display port, and my main monitor which im using right now will be moved over as secondary monitor via hdmi into a hdmi switcher where my pc and my nintendo switch will be plugged into, and the hdmi monitor will also have a 3.5 male to male audio cable plugged into it going into my pc, so i have my switch sound via my pc headset :D its all sorted out ! i hope...... :D

but cheers for the heads up =) better safe than sorry
