[SOLVED] ROCKET LEAGUE WON'T LAUNCH, RUNS AND THEN SHUTS DOWN AGAIN. HELP ASAP!

Hi,

Yesterday I tried launching RL but it didn't open, realised the .exe was missing, validated and recovered it. Tried launching again, nothing.

Looked it up and I was told I should launch Steam and RL as administrator.

Once again, nothing.

Tried everything again, nope.

So I decided to do a clean install, deleted and reinstalled it.

AGAIN, IT DOESN'T LAUNCH.

I press play and it says running, turns green but after 5 seconds game shuts down.

Could you help me please?

i have never seen a problem like this. maybe try putting up a support ticket on the rl site?

did you change anything about your hardware since then? new monitor, new gpu yada yada?
what could be happening is in that case that your config still expects this and that setting, for example a resolution that you cant have anymore, so the game just crashes because its not fitting somehow

Where do I find them? Sorry for asking too much but idk where they are

Deleted them and tried validating, said all files were valid. Tried to launch the game and didn't open as usual

This is nearly always caused by antivirus software quarantining or deleting the game launcher. You can verify the game files, and the game's launcher will be re-downloaded, but your antivrus software will just do the exact same thing again and delete it. You'll have to whitelist Rocket League in your antivirus software. Alternatively, here are some support articles:

Good Idea, you could try turn off your Anti-Virus and re-install the game. Than do, what he written here. Should surely work! :D

Hi guys, contacted Steam support and solved the issue. Thanks for helping. Though now it says that I can't connect to RL servers. Happens sometimes, just gotta wait
