1-aim to left or right at the moment of hit the ball
2-hit the ball a bit after your opponent
3-go to the block instead the hit and aim the ball to the sides
4-he will have not boost like you, so save a bit of boost when you hit the ball, you don't need to use all the boost to hit the ball before than him, you never want to hit the ball before your opponent in 1v1 except if you know how to do a fast kick off.
kick off isn't random, it's skill, if you want you can even provoke to stop the ball in front of you while your opponent it's on one of the sides, then you just need to hit a bit the ball to score.
1 - that just gets me further from the goalside based on Musty which just destroys my chances
2 - I tried that, and when it bounces off me, it bounces back off the enemy
3 - block? You mean goalkeeping? It's kinda hard goalkeeping when you're a silver 1 struggling to understand how dribbling works
4 - tried saving up, that doesn't stop kickoff goals tho
It is random indeed because you also need to consider what the enemy might do which is just rng from that point on
Controllers - are supported by steam, and game pads were made for PC before consoles even existed. It used a gamepad port before Universal serial buses were invented
It's more intuitive with a controller due to triggers, and pressure sensitivity of the back triggers when accelerating.. just more natural like a foot stepping on the gas pedal.
Most racing games are played better with a controller because you have better controller with regard to turning, and accelerating, or braking. Keyboard, the button detection = push button - the button stays down the whole time, unless you're tapping -
random?? no, how i told you, it's skill.
3- block means block not goalkeeper
the way the opponent thinks it's just a few options, and you adapt your kick off to his first movement.
yes, the ball will bounce based on both players, that's why you adapt your kick off on what he is doing, to decide where and how you want the bounce (not always a success obviously)
there's a such thing like kick off master, when i was with my friend playing time ago i was able to score 3 goals just by kick off, because i know it how to stop the ball practicaly on the center of the terrain of the game and my mate just needed to shoot or control and shoot.
i don't know about other games, but in this game, kick off isn't random and kick off have 80% skill 20% strange bounce.
add me to friends and let's do a private match 1v1 and i will show you how kick offs aren't random.
2. How can you show me kick offs aren't random if I 1v1 you? I told you, I suck at kickoffs and you'll probably get 80% of them in my goal while I get 3 goals out of hard outstanding moves and you get 5 goals out of kickoff. That happens every 1v1 so don't even bother unless you got an actual tactic (musty's tactics are actually useful but I need to train them a little bit)
kick off isn't a lottery
There's no "right" way to do kick-offs. Pretty much every kick off is different.
