[Linux] Controller rumble not working

Hey,

Any tips on how to get the controller rumble working? I am using Xbox one controller and Manjaro Linux. I have tried few kernels including the latest stable 5.2.11. I also installed the steamos-xpad-dkms kernel module but it did not have any effect on the rumble. My controller has the latest firmware available.

When I go to the steam big picture controller settings and click "Identify" my controller does vibrate normally.

I only had rumble when using the ps3 controller

Rocket League doesn't pass rumble to controllers if you're using Steam to get your controller working. You need to disable Steam Input and let the controller pass directly into the game to get rumble.

In case some finds this question through Google like me:
In Big Picture mode, select your game and go to the controller settings. You can then "force off" the Steam input in a dropdown menu.

However, this didn't help for me, playing with a PS3 controller.
