Taking Rumble "seriously"
Seems every time somebody scores less than 100 points in Rumble and you mock them they ask, what? you take Rumble seriously?

Well as serious as any other mode in Rocket League. It is "Competitive" and rewards at the end of the season just like 1 vs 1 does. As serious as any game I play. I try not to be a detriment to my team, I try to have fun and I like winning.

It's like Dodge Ball, there are kids that get hit in the head every game, and there are kids who hit other kids in the head every game. Why be a target? Why not try to win? And if you have a terrible game just man up and play better next time.

How can you even take Rumble "seriously"? It's choke full of rng that kills all the competitiveness.

They added it to ranked so that people would take it more seriously as well as getting a proper rank other then sharing it with unranked which all play lists share one rank. That hide rank is for divisions up and down and it applies to all ranked not just extra mode.

They 100% did not make it and say its casual still. They made it competitive because people wanted it and it worked. There was no reason to play the unranked versions before and on top it didn't have it's on mm.

Now you have ranks and rewards so its exactly like ranked. BUT yes rumble is rng as heck on power ups so you win some lose some but people should be playing them "seriously" but you know, internet

I can totally take a gamemode serious where premades have the advantage of doing combos from left to the right

However, they made it very clear you could still play it casually if you wanted to. They even went to the effort of adding an option to "Hide rank" so people can play Extra Modes however they want.

Where did you take that rubbish from :steamfacepalm:

That don't mean crap. You will still get tryhards just to grind that stupid rng champ badge that isn't an accomplishment at all. Rumble use to be a ton of fun, it was suppose to act as a break from regular play seen in 3v3s, 2v2s, and 1v1s. So was dropshot, hoops, and snow day.

Also, show me where people wanted it ranked. As soon as the update dropped that made it ranked, everyone came out of the woodwork saying they did not want it ranked.

People said all over Reddit they'd play those game modes if there was ranked. Some people don't want to waste their time on an unranked game mode. The only people that whined about it going to ranked were little kids.

I notice all the people that say Rumble is junk are actually bad at it. Typical. If you are bad at it, its the modes fault.

"Just man up"
Yeah yeah sure buddy, I am gonna lay down flat after that statement you are so right just better man up if you want to play video games seriously. Just man up and play better sure.

- Stop crying and just feel happy
- Stop being so angry and just stay calm
- Stop whatever you are doing and just do as I say because I said so and I am right
