Just Looking for an RL Duos Partner

Hey Rocket League community, just looking for a partner for duos (or maybe triples if I can somehow make more than one friend). I've been fluctuating back and forth between Gold I and II for over a year and a half now, and I'm getting a little sick of advancing slightly farther than normal and immediately getting beat down by people who actually know what they're doing/smurfing. I'm also sick of teammates ratting me out for every mistake, no matter how small I make like some abusive stepdad and calling to forfeit when down 0-3 or 0-4 (imo, you shouldn't forfeit at all and play to the end).
I play on a 5-year-old laptop without a controller, and I play with minimal frames on the lowest settings, so that might be a big reason for my lack of improvement, but it's mostly me being just...well, bad. I don't know.
Hopefully there are some kinder souls out there in the community who are near my rank and are genuinely interested in at the very least playing together. I don't want to be carried to diamond 3 or anything I just want to play. It's a beautiful game but it's becoming harder and harder to enjoy when you're stuck in a skill hole the size of a debt-internment camp.
