Rocket League on Chromebook

Hey! I am on the quest to run rocket league on a chromebook. I first bought it on my i3 windows 10 pc and it tops at 45 fps in-game. I then thought why not try it on a chromebook. So I installed ubuntu xfce4 on my chromebook and installed steam and rocket league. The game starts up and is playable but how can I reach that 45 fps on this? Note: The Win10 pc had the game on the lowest settings for 45 fps.

You’re not getting playable framerates with those specs. There’s a reason Chromebooks are meant for word processing and web browsing.

Yeah, listen to this guy. And also why would you list what kind of webcam the chromebook has?
That wont make a single bit of difference and the Intel Integrated HD Graphics could give two cold ♥♥♥♥♥ about your FPS.

Well the minimum specs for Rocket League goes all the way down to Intel Core 2 duo which was discontinued a decade ago. I'm pretty sure a Celeron released within the last 3 years would be able to perform much better. The framerate right now is not actually too bad. It's not running at 8-15 fps. From what I'm seeing, its probably 25-30 fps. There's gotta be a way to run it at a couple more frames. And I'm sorry Robert that listing the full specs including the webcam triggered you.

They also require higher clock speeds than you’re getting with that notebook. Don’t expect and better performance than what you’re getting. You’re lucky it runs at all.
