I edited my TASystemSettings.ini notepad file in an attempt to get more fps and its backfired. Does anyone know how i can restore it to default if i dont have a backup?
Basically i had found a reddit post awhile back covering behind the scenes fps boosts for people with lower spec machines who want the best performance they can for their gaming rigs. It worked for a short while but now im missing certain textures from inventory screen (things like painted items). I have verifyied integrity of game cache and uninstalled the reinstalled rocket league.

I don't think the lag is related...A lot of people (me included) are having fps issues and didn't mess around with the file. Pretty sure a clean reinstall would make a new file btw.

Did you create a copy of the original file before editing it? that's rule #1

Delete the file. It'll be automatically generated the next time you launch the game.

If you have fps issues you can put on launch parameters "-dx9" because on march update Rocket league started to use directX 11 that is for 64 bits

dx9 made it worse somehow

I have a solution if you're having fps issues, try going into the nvidia control panel and do this:

Power Management Mode - Prefer Maximum Performance
Vsync - on
Triple Buffering - on (this will decrease the input lag from the vsync, not all but a little bit but also will reduce any lag from vsync)

So you will have your fps set to whatever hz monitor you have, and a little bit of input lag. Still better than a choppy game.
