i hit GC today in 2v2, so if i play my rewards to gc in lets say rumble did i get the season gc title or only the rumble title?

It does say. You get an "RNG" title, but not the same one than standard ranked players get for hitting GC

You should unlock the respective Extra Mode Grand Champion titles by simply reaching Grand Champion rank in the Extra Mode playlist.

you will get both titles - "grand champion" and "rng champ", if you hit GC in 2s and rumble and your reward level will be full, 10/10 wins. it doesn't matter if you win rest of a GC matches in rumble. you already have one GC win in 2s for "grand champion" title so complete the rest in any standard/extra mode.

If you only achieve Grand Champion in rumble then you only get RNG Champ Season 12 title and rewards for GC, but not Grand Champion Season 12 title and other GC titles

What chained said. If you are gc ranked in 2s and have say 5 of 10 wins doesn't matter in GC reward you can get the wins in any play list you are currently gc ranked in. That also means if you were to get those rewards and complete the 10 wins for your gc rewards any subsiquent playlist you manage to get ranked GC in will automatically give you that title as well
