Can I PLEASE disable the Stranger Things filter?

This is just painful to see on a constant bases, I play RL more than the show has watchable content. Its neat with its themed stuff but kind of an eyesore. #Opinion

It's not a filter. It's a combination of a fine wire-fence mesh and the signature falling ash in the Upside Down. People are misinterpreting it as a filter or a film grain effect, I guess because they're playing on 1080p or lower.

I don't think they can disable any of that because the wire mesh is part of the field and the raining ash is essential to the Upside Down in the show.

I like the effect, but it's just a bit annoying when you're trying to customise your car and you can't tell what actual shade of colour / particular brightness you're getting due to the filter.

I agree, Its a constant haze right on the screen, very distracting and bothersome. The map would be cool if it didnt have it.

If we could at least have the OPTION to disable the filter/effect/whatever someone wants to call it, would be appreciated. My desktop Sh-T the bed and my D-I7 which normally runs this fine is in overdrive with all the extra, unneeded, particles.

Why do ppl hate my favorite maps? People complained about Salty Shores and now they complain about Stranger Things. Why can't I have anything nice?

The map itself is awesome. I love seeing the mind flayer partake in watching our matches. Instead the problem that everyone has is the particle effects that rest on the screen. I get that they wanted to make us "feel" like we were in the upside down but after the first match it is extraordinarily bothersome for it to be constantly in the way.

There is also a higher contrast filter which I think is the main thing causing the eye strain issue, that should be fixable without too much work.
