Feels different in Free Play compared to online

Why the game feels so much more smooth and responsive in freeplay mode, but when i jump into a online mode it seems somewhat lagged and more sluggish, as in the car moves slower, and feels a little less responsive to turn/react. I have this on both PS4 and PC, my ping is fine at 15-20 most games, but there most certainly is a difference between free play and online matches. In freeplay I feel as if I can airdribble, dribble and react perfectly, but jump online and it's a different story...?

I don't understand I have a good ping and a 20/30mbs connection download speed, what could be causing the issues? the game reports a good connection but feels very different.

Hmm confusing I will certainly check it out, So no one else feels a smoother/gameplay difference between freeplay and online mode, they feel pretty much the same to you all? I will try to get to the bottom off it, just wondered if it was just me, freeplay feels amazing, but online slow to react.

Free play is 0 ping, thats why it feels so easy to do everything.

Also you're playing by yourself in literally the most stress free environment, maybe you're rushing it because of pressure from your opponents. Nothing crazy about this either, it just means the only way you'll progress to the next level is nailing it in online play and taking off the training wheels and work on something else in your free play training.

Or connection issues, I'm not a developer.

Problem, you're obliged to play online for drop crates and uncommon/rare/very rare/painted & certified items.
