I just did a quick test even using Sweettooth on the PS4 with it's giant size and it's practically identical to everything else. The Masamune did however consistently hit the ball a bit higher than the rest. Again nothing worth paying money for it. The turn radius' were definetly 100% identical across the lot.
Basically everyone above challenger had to go through the exact same as you. If you can't carry your teammates, then you're probably not good enough yet.
Try to stay on topic there's a good lad.
Try it, stop blaming your teammates and just focus on your performance, you'll be out of challenger before you even have time to blame it on luck. No need to stay on topic, because according to you every car is "practically identical" anyways right :).
As for "best car" it's all how you play.
Personally I play best with the aftershock and octane. The Volcan isn't too bad for me either. Where as some players are great with takumi and Dominus, and I can't. Drive. Them very well for whatever reason.
i do enjoy marauder, and hotshot for 3v3 their bulky look make it easy to spot the hitbox(Vulkan is fine but i need time to confirm i enjoy it)
i let the dominus a while back, it is still to me the most effective car available but like for octane so many people use it i feel like changing a bit.
Takumi, Esper, Ripper and Zippy are my car of choice for 2v2, a bit more versatile, their hitboxes make a good change (Takumi RX is pure cancer btw, turn radius is different from classic version) and allow easy groundwork
for non ranked i do enjoy Roadhog Xl and the new Guizmo
be warry of what you want, i got an octane ZSR from a crate and was all happy feeling i was the king of the mountain, only to see i can't hit a proper shot with this car, will try to trade a Dom Gt to see if it's worth the hype.
Kind of been enjoying Triton for control on ball lately and proper flying.
