Stop putting me into in-progress games with stupid scorelines

This is my biggest complaint about Rocket League. You queue up for a random game and it puts you into one that has a scoreline of like 5-0 with 2-3 minutes left. Most of the time you are on the losing team and every so often you'll magically end up on the winning team. Everytime I'm on the losing side I just quit the game straight away and wait a minute before queueing up again to avoid being put back into the game I left (which does happen sometimes).

If the scoreline is that bad, just let the game end rather than annoying me. I don't mind losing but if I'm going to lose, I want to play the entire game, not come into a game that there is no chance of turning around.

This is a pain but I try to look at it from the other point of view. if you were in a disadvantage ina game, you would want people to join you mid game.

True but most of the players in these games are completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hopeless so it wouldn't make a difference to be honest. Plus if people leave on me, I'll end up leaving so the other team can move onto an actual game faster as well.

Definitely. There should be some kind of "not in matches with under 1 min left" / "not in matches that are losing by more than 3 goals". SOmething like that. Not too restrictive! But something similar

But... Flipside did a 2-0 comeback within 20 secs. So... If youre team down by 5-0 with 2 min remaining.. =. You still have a chance to go 5-12 for the win.

Why? The aim of the game is to win, regardless of it being ranked or not. If you aren't playing to win and aren't going to play as a team, stop playing the game and go play Hello Kitty Magical Adventure.

What I'm saying is in non-competitive games, you get thrown in whenever, if you're good however, play competitive because you always start at the beginning of the game and have an equal chance to win.

Pretty sure a lot of ppl plays normal for their warmups, as a result.. leaving the game wont be much big deal(?). but ofc, any game goal is to win.. Unless youre nicktron. but anyway, if you want to win THAT MUCH on normals.. back to yourself. Git gud m8. (im not that good either but.. no one cares.. right?)

My favorite is queuing to a match only to be immediately placed in to watch the Winning team doing their match ended. we won "Jump Dance".

Why is the matching algorithms queuing me in to a match that is: 1) OVER 2) An automatic LOSE?
