Easiest way to fly sideways is to not fly sideways. Just air roll immediately off of the wall to either being upside down or right-side up, whichever feels better for the shot you're going for. This works better if you use air roll left/right as opposed to standard air roll, as you can control your other axes of movement at the same time to make other little alterations for the wall shot.

But I'm not great at wall drags, so maybe I'm not the right one to give advice here. Typical wall shots are pretty easy doing it this way tho.

thx for the advice you are making alot of sense (i am not being sarcastic). I originally did air roll to the correct position off the wall but i saw the pros doing it the "flying sideways" way and i thought maybe i should learn that way too. But i will stick to what I'm good at for now and continue to learn the fundamentals (+ air drags too they are cool).
Agree with OsoMako, most of the time you are just better off air rolling into a more comfortable orientation.

That being said flying sideways is useful sometimes situationally so it's worth learning imo. An easy way to practice is to do aerial training or an aerial training pack and air roll to a sideways orientation as soon as you finish your launch and do both sideways orientations for each shot. Eventually it just becomes second nature the same as flying backwards/upside down.

It might also be helpful to focus on one side at a time but personally I prefer alternating, ymmv.

Go to exhibition and use slo-mo. You'll eventually get a feel for the inverted controls when flying sideways/upside down/etc.
